Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, abbreviated as KVS, is going to celebrate its 63rd foundation day on 15th December 2025. KVS was started on 15th December 1963 for the children of Central Government employees. Originally, KVS was known as Central School.

देश में आज मनाया जा रहा संविधान दिवस, जानें क्या है इसका इतिहास
भारत का संविधान दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा लिखित संविधान है, लेकिन इसे बनाना उतना ही मुश्किल काम था। यह ऐसा संविधान है, जिसमें देश के हर एक नागरिक के अधिकारों और उसकी आजादी का खयाल रखा गया है।
देशभर में आज संविधान दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। बता दें कि यह संविधान दिवस 26 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। दरअसल, सन 1949 में 26 नवंबर के दिन ही भारत की संविधान सभा ने औपचारिक रूप से भारत के संविधान को अपनाया था। इसी दिन को हम हर साल संविधान दिवस के रूप में मनाते हैं। इस दिन हम संवैधानिक मूल्यों के प्रति नागरिकों में सम्मान की भावना को बढ़ावा देने के लिए यह दिवस मनाते हैं। साल 2015 में संविधान निर्माता डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर के 125वें जयंती वर्ष में संविधान दिवस की शुरुआत हुई। 26 नवंबर 2015 को समाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय ने संविधान दिवस के रूप में मनाने के केंद्र के फैसले को अधिसूचित किया था |
इन देशों के संविधानों की ली मदद
भारत के संविधान को बनाने में कुल 2 वर्ष, 11 माह और 18 दिन का समय लगा था। इस तरह से 26 नवंबर 1949 को हमारा संविधान पूरा बनकर तैयार हुआ। हमारे देश का संविधान पूरी दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा लिखित संविधान है। संविधान बनाते समय कई देशों के नियमों को शामिल किया गया, जिससे आम लोगों के जीवन में बेहतरीन सुधार लाए जा सके। इसके लिए अमेरिका, आयरलैंड, कनाडा, जापान, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और युनाईटेड किंगडम जैसे देशों के संविधानों की सहायता ली गई।

एक कवि अमलेंदु शुक्ला की ओर से लिखी गई यह लाइनें शायद सभी के लिए आज 26 नवंबर के दिन के महत्व को दर्शाती हैं। संविधान हम सभी को देश में जीने की राह की राह दिखाता है।

राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह 14 नवंबर-20 नवंबर 2024
ILA (भारतीय पुस्तकालय संघ) ने 14-20 नवंबर को पूरे भारत में राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह के रूप में मनाने की घोषणा की है। 1968 से ही इस दिन लोगों को पुस्तकालयों के बारे में जानकारी देने के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं।
राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह एक वार्षिक उत्सव है, जिसमें पुस्तकालयों, पु स्तकालयाध्यक्षों और पुस्तकालय कर्मियों द्वारा जीवन को बदलने और हमारे समुदायों को मजबूत बनाने में निभाई जाने वाली महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला जाता है। पुस्तकालय सप्ताह का उत्सव छात्रों में पढ़ने की आदतों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक प्रोत्साहन है।
रंगनाथन, पूर्ण नाम शियाली रामामृत रंगनाथन, (जन्म 9 अगस्त, 1892, शियाली, मद्रास, भारत - मृत्यु 27 सितंबर, 1972, बैंगलोर, मैसूर), भारतीय पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष और शिक्षक जिन्हें भारत में पुस्तकालय विज्ञान का जनक माना जाता है और जिनके योगदान का विश्वव्यापी प्रभाव था।
आंध्र प्रदेश पुस्तकालय संघ ने 12 नवंबर 1912 को मद्रास में एक अखिल भारतीय पुस्तकालय बैठक आयोजित की। इस बैठक से भारतीय पुस्तकालय संघ का गठन हुआ। बाद में ILA ने 14 नवंबर को राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया। 1968 से, 14-20 नवंबर को पूरे भारत में राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह के रूप में मनाया जाता है और लोगों को पुस्तकालयों के बारे में बताने के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं।
श्री अय्यंकी वेंकट रामनय्या या अय्यंकी वेंकट रामनय्या को “भारत में सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय आंदोलन के वास्तुकार” के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है, जो आंध्र प्रदेश पुस्तकालय संघ के गठन के पीछे के व्यक्ति थे। उन्हें बड़ौदा महाराजा द्वारा "ग्रंथालय पितामह" के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था। भारत सरकार ने उन्हें पद्मश्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया। हमारे विद्यालय ने राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह पर कई प्रकार की प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया।

KVS FOUNDATION DAY 2023
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan celebrates its foundation day on the 15th of December every year. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established in the year 1963 with only 20 regimental schools .
Its headquarters is in saheed Jeet singh marg, New Delhi 110 016. Kendriya vidyalaya sangathan is abbreviated as KVS. It is functioning under the ministry of MoE (Ministry of Education) erstwhile Ministry of Human resource center.
All the Kendriya Vidyalayas are affiliated under CBSE : Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
History of KVS
The Kendriya Vidyalayas was approved in November 1962 by the Govt. of India in NOV 1962 on the recommendations of the 2nd CPC (Central Pay Commission). Wherein it was clearly mentioned to set up an institution to the wards of transferable Central
Government employees and to provide uninterrupted schooling during the academic session.
In view of the recommendation 20 regimental schools were opened during the academic year 1963-64. Initially it was established in the area where huge numbers of defence employees were deployed.
KVS was registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) on 15th December 1965.
Objective of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
The primary aim of the Sangathan is as follows
To provide, establish, endow, maintain, control and manage the Central Schools (Kendriya Vidyalayas) located all over India and abroad.
Due to its quality education and popularity the number of Kendriya Vidyalayas are increased from 20 to 1256 till November 2023. National Daughter Day
National Daughters Day is celebrated in India on the fourth Sunday of September every year and the day reminds people of the beautiful treasure in their house called 'daughter'. This year, National Daughters Day is being celebrated on September 24. A GROUP OF FROGS A story of Motivation
A GROUP OF FROGS
A colony of frogs is traveling across a forest in search of a pond. While hopping around, two frogs fall into a deep pit. The other frogs gather around the pit and express their concern over the situation. As the two frogs try to jump out of the deep pit, the other frogs discourage them by saying how impossible it is to jump out. The two frogs choose to ignore the demotivating words of others and decide to jump out of the pit. They try very hard and put in all their efforts to come out of the pit while the frogs watching from the top tell them to give up. Eventually, one among them is influenced by the other frogs and dies as it gives up on the struggle to come out of the pit. The other frog continues to jump as hard as it can. After an immense struggle, it finally comes out of the pit alive. Other frogs are surprised and ask how it managed to come up in spite of them telling it to give up. The frog explains that it is deaf and assumed that everyone was cheering for it. Moral Of The Story: People’s words have a significant impact on our lives. NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
India celebrates National Sports Day on August 29, the birth anniversary of hockey hero Major Dhyan Chand. In 2012, the day was declared India’s National Sports Day. Major Dhyan Chand was a legend in Indian and international hockey. With victories at the Summer Olympics in 1928, 1932, and 1936, he was instrumental in helping India complete their first hat-trick of Olympic gold medals. Dhyan was so dedicated to his art that he used to practice hockey at night after his regular daytime tasks were over, earning him the nickname Dhyan ‘Chand.
HISTORY OF NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
Major Dhyan Chand, a field hockey player, is recognized by many to be the greatest field hockey player ever. Dhyan Chand was born on August 29, 1905, in Allahabad, India, to a Kushwaha Rajput family. He was the son of Sharadha and Rameshwar Singh. Dhyan Chand had two brothers — Mool Singh and Roop Singh. The latter, also a hockey player, was a member of the Indian field hockey team, which won gold medals for India at the Olympic Games in 1932 and 1936. Chand’s father served in the British Indian Army, where he was a member of the hockey team. Chand was well-known for his superb ball control and goal-scoring abilities. India won the field hockey event in seven of the eight Olympics from 1928 through 1964, demonstrating his influence beyond these successes.
According to his memoirs, Chand played internationally from 1926 until 1949, scoring 570 goals in 185 matches during his home and international career. In 1956 he retired from the army with the rank of major, and in the same year, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third-highest civilian honor.
To mark his birthday, India established National Sports Day in 2012. The purpose of the celebration is to honor the sporting legend and create awareness about the importance of sporting activities in everyday life, with a focus on fitness and health. The President of India bestows key honors on this day, including the Khel Ratna, Arjuna Awards, Dronacharya Awards, and Dhyan Chand Awards, to famous sports luminaries. Dhyan Chand passed away on December 3, 1979.

जन्म :
डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर का जन्म 14 अप्रैल 1891 को ब्रिटिश भारत के मध्य भारत प्रांत (अब मध्य प्रदेश) में स्थित महू नगर सैन्य छावनी में हुआ था। वे हिंदू महार जाति से संबंध रखते थे, जो तब अछूत कही जाती थी और इस कारण उन्हें सामाजिक और आर्थिक रूप से गहरा भेदभाव सहन करना पड़ता था। भीमराव अम्बेडकर के पूर्वज लंबे समय से ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी की सेना में कार्यरत रहे थे और उनके पिता रामजी सकपाल, भारतीय सेना की महू छावनी में सेवारत थे तथा यहां काम करते हुये वे सूबेदार के पद तक पहुँचे थे।
शिक्षा :
डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर ने मराठी और अंग्रेजी में औपचारिक शिक्षा प्राप्त की थी। उन्होंने सातारा नगर में राजवाड़ा चौक पर स्थित शासकीय हाईस्कूल (अब प्रतापसिंह हाईस्कूल) में 7 नवंबर 1900 को अंग्रेजी की पहली कक्षा में प्रवेश लिया। इसी दिन से उनके शैक्षिक जीवन का आरम्भ हुआ था, इसलिए 7 नवंबर को महाराष्ट्र में विद्यार्थी दिवस रूप में मनाया जाता हैं।

29 अगस्त 1947 को, डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को स्वतंत्र भारत के नए संविधान की रचना के लिए बनी संविधान की मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष पद पर नियुक्त किया गया। डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर एक बुद्धिमान संविधान विशेषज्ञ थे, उन्होंने लगभग 60 देशों के संविधानों का अध्ययन किया था। डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को "भारत के संविधान का पिता" के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है।
संविधान सभा द्वारा 26 नवंबर 1949 को संविधान अपनाया गया था।अपने काम को पूरा करने के बाद, बोलते हुए, डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर ने कहा:

निधन
1948 से, डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर मधुमेह से पीड़ित थे। अपनी अंतिम पांडुलिपि भगवान बुद्ध और उनका धम्म को पूरा करने के तीन दिन के बाद 6 दिसम्बर 1956 को आम्बेडकर का महापरिनिर्वाण नींद में दिल्ली में उनके घर मे हो गया।
